About NECare

The NECare, a public charitable trust, has been registered on 9th November, 2011. This trust has been opened with an objective to provide basic primary medical assistance to the underprivileged section of the society in the form of consultations, medicine, medical diagnostic services etc. in no profit and no loss basis. The beneficiaries of this Trust shall be members of the public in general without distinction of any religion, caste, colour or creed.

About the founders:

Dr. S Sahariah, a renowned Transplant Urologist & Vice Chairman at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. He has graduated from Guwahati Medical College, Guwahati.

Sri Bimal Kumar Bhattacharya, Senior Manager at Nokia India Pvt. Ltd. at Bangalore and had worked in reputed organizations like Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a senior scientist. He has graduated from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Assam.

Sri Manoj Mahanta, currently working as Vice President at Infoline LLC in Muscat, Oman and was with HCL Infosystem in a senior management role for a long period. He has graduated from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Assam.

Objective:

a. To provide basic primary medical assistance to the underprivileged section of the society in the form of consultation, medicines, medical diagnostic service etc. in no profit and no loss basis.

b. To make provision for advancing the cause of good health and fight against the social ills of drug abuse, AIDS, alcoholism etc.

c. To help students from the poor family to undergo training in health related subjects like nursing, technical course in various medical specialties (Laboratory technician, Dialysis technician, Radiology technician, Operation theatre technician etc).

d. To hold, arrange and organize meetings, lectures, talks, discussions, seminars, symposia, conferences, competitions, research and study visits, tours, excursions, exhibitions, debates, cinema, audio-visual programmers, the artistic performances and other cultural activities, sports and games to make people aware about various health related problems.

e. To provide emergency medical assistance during natural calamity like flood, earthquake, terrorist attack, accidents, and outbreak of communicable diseases, etc.

f. To organize health camps in remote areas of the region to study prevalence of various diseases, medical assistance to the local population, conduct medical research and help the state health department in spreading the message of various health related projects launched by the government.

g. To conduct awareness and educational programme about blood donation, donation of eyes and other organs after death.
