Primary Health Centre at West Boragaon, Guwahati:

This is the first modest milestone of NECare and this primary health care centre (PHCC) was inaugurated on 6th November, 2011, by Sri Nipon Goswami, noted film & television actor and Dr. Nagen Goswami, Ex health officer, Bhutan Govt. It is located at West Boragaon (near Pragtishpur school) and there are no other such medical facility for poor and needy people around this area.  As a basic infrastructure, we have built the house that has a doctor’s room, dressing or nursing room, medicine dispense room, patients waiting room, laboratory and appropriate water and toilets for the stuff and the patients. Currently, this PHCC has one doctor and a male nurse to look after the patients. From 6th November, in an average about 15 patients are visiting this PHCC every day to take treatment and advice.

Our immediate goal is to make this PHCC complete with a reasonable lab facility to diagnosis commonly occurring ailments in this area.
